Eastern State Penitentiary

I was invited to go on an extended tour of the old jailhouse in Philadelphia today. I had a great time with the guys and got the chance to snap a few. The place was not nearly as creepy as some people had told me, but this might be because we were there in broad daylight. I'd like to thank Matt, Andy and Jon for the opp.

EDIT: These photos are composites of 3 bracketed photos each.

These photos are really nice. I love that place. Rubens and I have studio space in a building across the street from there at 22nd and Mt Vernon. Thanks for dropping a line. Good to hear from you! Hope all is well.

True Scott, these are dope! A friend of ours still has a piece there (the red pipe installation that snakes around the outside and turns into a pipe organesque thing). He took me there one night to see the piece while it was being built and the place was quite freaky.

Good to virtually see you brother. Peace...

Hey guys,

Thanks for your comments, I really appreciate them. Lynne and Rubens, it's really great to hear from you both! While at E.S.P. I found myself following the red pipes around until I saw them exiting the penn at the one wall. Very nice work. The piece held my attention during my entire visit.

Please keep in touch, it's wonderful to have found you both again.
